Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer 500ml
Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer is a high quality sealer produced using natural and traditional materials which have been used since the middle of the 19th century. It is a fine quality natural sealer blended from bleached waxy grade shellac.
Briwax Sanding Sealer provides a good base which gives a high build and a more resilient finish to French polish and wax. Briwax Sanding Sealer is excellent for filling the pores of whatever you apply it to. It is excellent as a base for French polishing or waxing untreated wood.
Briwax Sanding Sealer is the ideal sealer for use under Briwax Original wax polish to produce a higher shine which does not sink away. It also allows bare wood to be waxed with the darker colours and will avoid 'tide' marks which can often appear when over-lapping when waxing.
Application Shake well before use. Stain should be applied first and allowed to dry thoroughly. Sand wood as normal and ensure all dust is removed. Apply Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer by brush or cloth. Allow to dry for 30 min and sand lightly with 0000 steel wool. Apply natural finish or wax as directed. Coverage : 10-12 SqMtrs/Litre/ coat Clean brushes with Methylated Spirit
Please note: For best results it is recommended to use Briwax Original Wax or one of the Briwax range of products as a finishing coat.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
