Paint Brushes, Rollers & Applicators
The quality of the finish can be impacted on the way a finish is applied. Hence choosing the correct applicator is an important part of the job. Water based paints and varnishes are often best applied with a fine bristled synthetic brush or microfibre roller, whereas oils are best applied with a natural bristle brush or cotton rags. Touch in more detailed areas with artist sable brushes, or make a french polishing “rubber” for applying Shellac. Steel wool can be used to apply waxes and paint removers.
