UK Mainland Deliveries
All next day standard services to UK Mainland are FREE if your order is over £80 including VAT.
For UK Mainland, not including Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of White, or Channel Islands the following rates apply at checkout.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package. Find our Refund Policy here.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer require the item, please organise the return online with a carrier company.

Key Features
Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer is a high quality sealer produced using natural and traditional materials which have been used since the middle of the 19th century. It is a fine quality natural sealer blended from bleached waxy grade shellac.
Briwax Sanding Sealer is the ideal sealer for use under Briwax Original wax polish to produce a higher shine which does not sink away. It also allows bare wood to be waxed with the darker colours and will avoid 'tide' marks which can often appear when over-lapping when waxing.
Application Shake well before use. If the wood is to be coloured, the dye should be applied first and allowed to dry thoroughly. Sand wood as normal and ensure all dust is removed. Apply Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer by brush or cotton rag. Two liberal coats will be needed before applying a wax polish. If this product is to be used as a finish then apply as many coats as needed to build a sufficient layer of shellac. Allow to dry for 30 min and sand lightly with 0000 steel wool between coats. Once dry it can be over-coated with wax or French polish. If used as a finish then polish with a pure cotton cloth.
