How much do I need?
Liberon Quick Drying Tung Oil is a unique fast drying high quality natural oil. It is suitable for use on food contact surfaces including chopping boards and kitchen worktops, plus it gives excellent protection for internal and external tables and chairs.
Liberon's new Quick Drying Tung Oil is highly food acid, alcohol and water resistant and will protect with a natural long lasting matt finish that is also hard wearing. It's deep penetrating formula will protect and bring out the natural beauty of the wood whilst allowing it to patinate and age gracefully.
To prepare, ensure the wood is clean, dry and free of any previous finished. Old wax deposits can be treated with Wax and Polish Remover and varnishes removed with Fine Wood Stripper.
Apply the oil with a brush or lint-free cloth and allow it to absorb for 20 minutes. Wipe away any excess with a clean lint-free cloth and allow to dry for 4 hours. A minimum of 4 coats is recommended and a better result can be achieved by gently rubbing down between coats with ultra fine steel wool (grade 0000). To check the wood is protected, drop a little water onto the surface and if the water beads then sufficient oil has been applied. Allow 24 hours for the final coat to dry. Furniture can be finished with Black Bison Paste Wax for improved lustre.
Routine cleaning can be done with a damp lint-free cloth. Wipe up any spills immediately. Surfaces treated with Quick Drying Tung Oil will need regular upkeep, with re-applications perhaps being needed once or twice a year.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
