Barrettine Paint Panther Paint and Varnish Remover is a new, easy application, alcohol based gel formula paint stripper, which offers similar results to the older more hazardous dichloromethane-based paint removers. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use. The gel consistency makes it ideal for use on vertical surfaces and hard to reach areas. This paint and varnish remover is a lower odour product, suitable for domestic use whilst still delivering effective results in a matter of minutes. It is able to remove most coatings, including metallised and hammer type paints, acrylics, polyurethanes and some two pack coatings.
Suitable for wood and masonry. Other substrates should be subjected to a patch test to establish compatibility. It is not suitable for use on plastic, perspex or fibreglass. Shake well before use and apply liberally by brush and allow the surface to blister, which should take 10-15 minutes. Then apply more product and allow a further 15-30 minutes before attempting to remove the paint or varnish. Apply to an area less than 0.5 square metre at a time. Once the surface has been stripped it can be washed down with White Spirit or Meths.
Paint Panther should be stored in a cool dry location between 10-25°C out of direct sunlight and avoiding extremes of temperature including frost. Store upright with the lid tightly closed between uses. If the storage advice is followed, the product will have a shelf life of two years from the manufacturing date.

Try a test patch in an inconspicuous area first before attempting a large area.
Apply in well ventilated spaces. Barrettine Paint Panther does contain corrosive substances so protective equipment such as gloves, mask and safety glasses are required when using.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
