Peel Away 1 Neutraliser - 1 litre is used to neutralise the substrate after using the Peel Away 1 paint removal system prior to refinishing.
Each Kit of Peel Away 1 contains a 1 litre bottle of neutraliser. We also supply additional/ spare neutraliser for when it is required. The quantity of neutraliser required can depend on the porosity of the substrate.
It is typically diluted 50/50 with water, so 1 litre of concentrate will make 2 litres of Neutraliser. Coverage will be approximately 5m2 per litre. If working on a plaster surface, change the dilution to four parts water to one part neutraliser. Decant into a spray bottle or garden-type pressure sprayer for larger areas.
Starting at the top, spray the whole area until the surface is saturated. Leave the Neutraliser on the surface until touch dry but not less than 6 hours. The effectiveness will be enhanced by scrubbing the surface once the Neutraliser has been applied. DO NOT scrub plaster or Gesso!
Rinse the surface with a steady spray of clean water but be careful not to use too much pressure in case of damage to the surface. After a minimum of 24 hours air drying, test the pH of the surface with the litmus strips supplied with Peelaway 1. If the surface has a pH of more than 8 then the neutralising process should be repeated and the test re-done.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
