This floor varnish is available in contemporary colours and can be used on European or exotic woods and also laminates. It is resistant to stains and wear & tear from heavy foot traffic and can be used over previously varnished or painted surfaces as well as bare wood.
It is important that correct preparation is done to ensure the best results. Make sure that the surface is clean, dry and free from grease. If applying to bare wood, sand with a 120 grit abrasive and remove all dust. Varnished or painted surfaces, if in good condition, can be washed, rinsed and allowed to dry then sanded with 240 grit paper, again removing all dust. If the surface is partially worn it should be sanded back to bare wood and the dust removed. Floors that have previously been waxed will need to have the wax removed and then sanded in two stages, using 60 then 120 grit abrasives. The same sanding process will be needed on a previously oiled floor. Laminate floors should be washed, rinsed and allowed to dry then given a light key with 240 grit paper.
Stir before and during use with a wide bladed implement, scraping the bottom of the tin to make sure all components are properly mixed. The varnish can now be applied by brush or short pile roller. A second coat can be applied after 3 hours. If necessary a third coat could be applied. After the final coat allow to dry for 12 hours. Careful use only for the first few days and the varnish will reach optimum hardness after 2 weeks. The ideal temperature for the working environment is between 12-25°C. Brushes can be cleaned with water.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
