Liberon Black Polish is often used in the ebonising process, as it can completely obscure the grain. Liberon Black Polish is a high quality, Black French Polish. It is suitable for use on new wood and in the restoration of ebonized antique furniture. To get the best from the ebonizing process it is best to stain the wood first with Liberon Palette wood dye in ebony. For a very dark colour, Fiddes Light Fast Water Concentrate in black can be used as a stand alone product to provide a base for the Black Polish. Use a foam applicator pad to get the best finish on the dye. Multiple coats of black polish will be needed (3 minimum) to achieve a suitable finish. This can be further enhanced and protected with a final layer of Neutral Black Bison Paste Wax.
It can be applied with a French Polishing mop or with a rubber (cotton wadding wrapped in cotton cloth) in accordance with traditional French Polishing techniques, and helps to stop the grain of the wood showing through.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
