Cuprinol Decking Cleaner is a special formula cleaner designed to remove grease, lichen, algae and mould from your decking prior to refinishing with Cuprinol Decking Oil or Anti Slip Stain. It will also help to prevent the re-growth of surface contaminants.
It’s powerful formula also makes it an ideal product for cleaning patios and stonework etc.
How To Use Cuprinol Decking Cleaner
If treating heavy mould or algae growth, this product can be used undiluted. For lighter growth it can be diluted 50/50 with water. If any excessive organic growth or soiling is present then this should be removed with a scraper or stiff brush.
Apply the product generously with a brush, sprayer or watering can (fitted with a rose) and scrub the surface with a stiff brush. Leave it to work for a few minutes then rinse off with water. The deck will need to dry fully fo around 16 hours before refinishing. Tools can be cleaned in water. A single treatment is usually enough but if the deck is very heavily soiled, a second application may be necessary.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
