Oxalic Acid Crystals remove stains such as ink from wood, rust stains from a variety of materials such as concrete and also mildly bleaches wood. As it reacts with tannins, it will remove black water marks from Oak. Oxalic Acid can also help with the removal of rust from metal surfaces. Please note that it will not remove or lighten burn and heat marks.
Oxalic Acid is also used for cleaning fibreglass boat decks and hulls and used by Apiarists to disinfect beehives. Oxalic Acid is found naturally in many plants.
Oxalic Acid is supplied in the form of fine white crystals, which should be diluted by adding approximately 75-100g of crystals to 1 litre of warm water. This solution should be applied evenly to the surface with a cloth, sponge or brush. Do not apply only to the stained area at this point. Once dry if there is still some staining then apply directly to the stained area and once the desired result has been achieved, rinse the surface with clean water. This will most likely raise the grain on wood, so after the wood has dried it can be sanded with a P120-180 abrasive.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
