How much do I need?
Ronseal Hardwood Garden Furniture Stain is designed to provide up to 3 years colour and protection for all hardwood garden furniture.
Ronseal's unique formulation is lightly pigmented to add natural colour to wood without obscuring the natural wood grain, protecting against fading and deliver long lasting protection
Ronseal Garden Furniture Stain protects garden furniture against the weather, delivering excellent water and UV resistance and helping to prevent your furniture from cracking, splitting or fading. With a drying time of only 1 hour, garden furniture is back in use faster than with traditional hardwood stains.
When applying, choose a time when no rain is expected and the temperature will remain above 10°C. Sand any previously finished or weathered surfaces back to bare wood and lightly sand new wood. Wipe down with White Spirit to remove any dirt or grease. If the furniture has been previously painted this will need to be taken off with a suitable remover and the surface restored to bare wood before staining.
If older furniture is infested with woodworm, it can be removed with a suitable woodworm killer. The remaining holes can be filled with Bonda Wood Stop, which can be sanded and stained.
Stir the tin thoroughly and apply by brush, working in the direction of the grain. Allow 4 hours drying time before applying the next coat. The best results will be achieved if three coats are applied, leaving four hours between each coat. Once the final coat has been applied allow a further 48 hours before subjecting the furniture to use.
To maintain the finish simply wipe down regularly with a damp cloth. If any damage is noticed on the surface just apply another coat of stain.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
