Bonda Wood Stop Wood & Grain Filler is a single pack, water based wood stopper suitable for use on hard and softwoods. It gives a smooth, professional, long lasting and hard wearing finish which will flex with the natural movement of your wood. It works with most conventional wood stains and dyes, and is ideal for smaller cracks and pin holes and for filling surface imperfections and damaged wood grain. This wood stop will dry to a smooth dense surface that is easy to sand. If sanding prior to applying paint use Mirka Hiomant which will provide a good key for paint. If varnishing or using a shellac polish then Mirka Caratflex will give the option of a finer grit for a smoother surface.
It is suitable for interior or exterior jobs The curing time is around 2 hours, depending on temperature and humidity.
If separation has occurred while in storage, stir well. Apply to a clean, dry substrate with a putty knife, leaving the filler slightly proud of the surface to allow for possible shrinkage and to facilitate sanding. If the hole to be filled is deep, fill in layers of 3mm allowing each layer to dry before the next is applied. Allow the filler to dry for 2-3 hours before applying an undercoat or varnish. A deeply filled area may need a longer drying time. Clean tools straight after use with warm water.
The optimal temperature range when applying is between 15-25°C but it should not be used if the ambient temperature is below 10°C or in high humidity. Do not store below 5°C.
This filler is available in Light Oak, Mahogany, White, Stainable Light and Stainable Dark. The stainable versions can be coloured with Rustins Wood Dye. The dyes are intermixable for an accurate colour match.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
