Rustins Door Oil is a unique blended water base with waxes and resins formulated for the treatment of internal solid and veneered wooden doors and joinery.
It is designed to safely absorb into and protect wooden surfaces without the risk of affecting the veneer adhesive as some other wood oils can.
Rustins Door Oil is easily applied and will bring out the natural beauty of the wood, leaving a hard wearing water and stain resistant finish.
Prepare by ensuring the wood is clean, dry, smooth and free from any potential contaminants. Waxes can be taken off with a Wax and Polish Remover. Oily woods such as Teak or Iroko should be wiped over with White Spirit to remove any surface oils that might inhibit the absorption of the door oil.
Apply evenly by brush or roller in the direction of the grain. If the wood needs to be coloured, it can be treated with Rustins Wood Dye prior to oiling. The ideal temperature range for application is between 15-25 degrees C. Do not apply if the temperature is below 10 degrees.
To maintain the surface simply wipe down with a well wrung cloth and a mild detergent solution. Dirt and scratches can be removed with a plastic scouring pad. If the surface becomes dull or worn it can be refreshed with a new coat of oil.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
