How much do I need?
Ronseal Teak Oil naturally nourishes, protects and enhances all types of hardwood garden furniture and dries to a matt finish.
Ronseal Teak Oil restores the condition and appearance of old garden furniture, as well as protecting and maintaining new hardwood garden furniture, by deeply absorbing into the wood to replace oils lost through natural weathering.
To keep your garden furniture looking good as new and to protect the finish, regularly clean the furniture. Tough marks may require a specialist wood cleaner. Always clean your oily cloths in warm soapy water before throwing them away. Oiled rags can sometimes self-ignite so dispose of them responsibly.
To apply, choose a dry period when the temperature will remain above 10°C. If the wood has been previously painted or stained this will need to be taken off with a suitable remover. If the wood has greyed with time then it can be brought back to its original colour with a wood reviver. Any mould or algae should also be removed. New wood simply needs to be wiped down with White Spirit to remove any dust or grease.
Shake the tin thoroughly then apply by cloth or brush and rub in well, removing any surplus oil with a clean cloth after a couple of minutes. Leave to dry for 24 hours between coats. Three coats 24 hours apart will generate the best results.
To maintain the finish just wipe away any food or liquid spillages. If after a period of time there are stains, scuffs or damage that can't be cleaned, simply give the area a light sand and then apply a thin coat of Teak Oil.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
