Polyvine Metallic Paint is a range of deep, rich coloured paints that dry to give a polished metal like finish that shimmers in light.

The Metallic Paint is used by decorative artists from around the world because of its unique blend of metallic lustre particles and extra hard, high gloss finish.

It is water and heat resistant so is suitable for use inside or out.

Interior Uses:

  • Walls
  • Ornate plaster mouldings
  • Picture and mirror frames
  • Furniture
  • Pottery

Exterior Uses:

  • Metalwork
  • Gates
  • Railings
  • Doors
  • Statues
  • Ornaments

To apply, first ensure that the surface is in good condition, clean, dry and free from any potential contaminants.  Metal surfaces will need to be rust-free and previously painted surfaces lightly keyed.  Mix the paint well but do not shake. Use a good quality brush and apply 2-3 coats.  If applying to a porous surface, dilute the first coat 10% with water.  If working outdoors, do not apply if rain is expected.
