Fiddes Transparent Polish also known as Special Pale Polish, gives a slight amber tint once applied. It also has excellent self-levelling properties. Fiddes Transparent Polish can also be used as a sealer on denser hardwoods, or as a binder when mixed with Fiddes Spirit or Earth Pigment Powders. If necessary, it can be thinned with Finishing Spirit or Methylated Spirit.
Fiddes Transparent French Polish is recommended for use on Fine Furniture, Doors, Cabinet Work and Panelling. Apply as many coats as needed to achieve the desired finish. Use a P320 or 400 grit abrasive to flatten off between coats. Once fully dried a high gloss finish can be achieved with the use of Burnishing Cream.
Fiddes Supreme Wax Polish or Fiddes Mellow Wax Polish can be applied to further protect and enhance the natural beauty of your wood.
Fiddes Shellac Polishes are ideally suited for application on top of Fiddes complete range of Wood Stains, Dyes & Shellac Sealers.
Fiddes ranges of French Polishes are internationally used by the fine woodworking and antique restoration trades, blended in the UK with the finest natural Shellac for over four generations.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
