Fiddes Liquid Floor Wax is a quick drying wax finish which nourishes and protects whilst providing a lasting depth of sheen that naturally enhances the beauty of your wood flooring. It can be applied to previously finished wood to maintain or enhance the existing patina. Also, it can be successfully used on fine furniture or cabinet work.
Preparation: To prepare bare wood, sand in stages beginning with P120 grit abrasive working through to P180/240 grit, working in the direction of the grain where possible. Vacuum up the dust and go over the surface with a tack cloth to make sure all dust has been removed. If the wood is open grained it is recommended that it be sealed with Fiddes Shellac Sealer or Clear Glaze before the wax is applied. Previously finished wood can be cleaned with Fiddes Floor Surface Cleaner.
Application: Working in the direction of the grain, apply with a clean cotton cloth wiping evenly to produce a uniform coverage. Any excess wax should be carefully removed immediately with a separate absorbent cloth, again going on the direction of the grain. The best results will be obtained if the floor wax is applied sparingly and worked into small areas at a time. Once dry it can be buffed to the required sheen, either by hand with a stockinette cloth or by a Drill Brush.
Maintenance: For routine care simply wipe with a dry cloth, sweep or vacuum. It will typically be necessary to re-apply the wax on an annual basis but this can be more frequent if there is heavy foot traffic. If worn areas develop they can be easily re-finished by blending in a fresh coat of Floor Wax.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
