This version of the Mirka DEROS 680CV features an 8mm orbit, which makes it perfect for aggressive sanding and when larger areas need to be quickly covered. Typically it would be used when removing large amounts of stock from walls or for sanding roughened decking prior to refinishing. This would usually require the use of coarser abrasives, such as Mirka Abranet Ace HD. It uses the 150mm backing pad but can be fitted with the optional 125mm backing pad if necessary.
Importantly with the amount of dust this kind of sanding can generate, the combination of Mirka sander, dust extractor and grip abrasives provides dust free sanding, vastly improving the work environment and dramatically reducing the amount of time spent on clean up. A brushless motor will keep the sander working at it's best even when under heavy load.
Vibration levels are the lowest in class and an integrated vibration sensor with Bluetooth technology monitors levels, so when used with a myMirka app, the user can keep track of use and avoid the potentially harmful effects of long term exposure. Combined with light weight, compact size and superb ergonomics this means the 680CV can be used for extended periods without fatigue. Symmetrical design allows for comfortable handling regardless of whether the user is left or right handed.
Regular aggressive sanding means that it is important for the reliability of the sander to replace the backing pad at the first sign of wear as a worn pad can cause vibration. The life of the backing pad will be extended by using pad savers, which will take the punishment of aggressive sanding and frequent changes. Smoother results, especially on contoured surfaces, can be achieved with the use of an interface pad.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
