For a black or ebony style finish, use Fiddes Black Polish to create a high gloss, black coating, with an incomparable depth of colour and sheen.
Multiple, thin coats are recommended over a well sealed surface. For a great effect, little or no oil should be used when applying with a rubber. This will produce a high gloss black coating with outstanding depth and sheen.
To achieve an ebonised finish, start with a black grain filler and sand back once dry with a P240 or 320 abrasive. Follow this up with a coat of black Fiddes Light Fast Water Concentrate. This should be followed two brushed coats of Black Polish, with subsequent coats applied with a rubber. The final coats would be thinned, working towards a maximum of 75% with Methylated Spirit and the rubber lubricated with raw Linseed Oil.
It can also be used to touch in repairs on Chinoiserie and black lacquered finishes.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
