Rustins Clear Metal Lacquer forms a protective film with excellent adhesion onto metal surfaces including Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Silver and other polished metals. It is guaranteed not to yellow or craze with age and Rustins Metal Lacquer will prevent metals from tarnishing - no more cleaning!
Prepare the surface by making sure it is clean and free from wax, grease and metal polish. If the metal is lightly tarnished then give it a clean with a good quality metal polish. This will then have to be removed with warm soapy water. If the surface is not smooth then use a nail brush to make sure no metal polish remains. The item can then be dried with a cloth.
Shake well before use and apply the lacquer quickly and evenly with a soft brush. It can also be sprayed. It is best to apply this lacquer in warm, dry conditions between 15-25°C. It should not be used in temperatures below 10°C or in damp or humid conditions which could result in a milky finish.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
