All next day standard services to UK Mainland are FREE if your order is over £80 including VAT.

Returns Policy

If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package. Find our Refund Policy here.

Make your unique finish with Rubio Monocoat PreColor Easy, Nordic White coloured pre-treatment.

The PreColor Easy is a 0% VOC, water based, wood stain that provides a base colour that can be finished with any Rubio Plus 2C Wood Oil.

The PreColour Easy provides an even coloured base stain that soaks into the wood and can have either a clear or contrasting colour of Plus 2C Oil applied over the top. The result will offer a contrasting colour in the open wood grain.

Create unique looks and finishes with different combinations of PreColor Easy and Plus 2C Oil colours

For best results:

Sand the wood with P100 through to P150 grit abrasives
Vacuum or use a tack rag to remove excess dust from the grain
Use Rubio Cleaner to clean and prepare the wood
Shake the container thoroughly and decant into a mixing cup
Apply with a Rubio beige scrubby pad or Rubio microfibre pad, keeping a wet edge
After 5 minutes even out application by using a circular motion with the Rubio White Pad
Leave for 12 hours to dry
Smooth out the raised wood grain with a Red Pad
Vacuum and/or use a tack cloth to remove dust from the grain
Apply a finish, such as the Rubio Monocoat Plus 2C Wood Oil

All interior wooden surfaces from floors to window frames, from kitchen tops to bathroom floors.
