How much do I need?
Osmo Polyx Oil Rapid is perfect for professionals looking to get the oil applied and dry quickly. Available in matt or satin sheens, it is closely related to the original Polyx Oil being perfect for use on most interior wood but dries much quicker. Suitable surfaces include floors, doors, sideboards, chairs, staircases, tables and worktops. It will bring out the natural colour of the wood and enhance it's grain.
Polyx Oil Rapid is resistant to stains, abrasion and is water repellant, coping with spillage from such things as wine, beer, tea, cola, fruit juice and water. It will not crack, flake or blister and is safe for people, animals and plants when dry. Compliant with safety standard EN71.3, it is suitable for use on children's toys.
Before application ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from any previous finishes such as paint or lacquer. If the surface needs to be sanded then start with a coarse grade and finish with P120 to P150 for flooring and P180 to P240 for furniture. Make sure that all dust is removed before oiling begins, either by vacuuming or by using a tack cloth.
The oil is ready to use and does not need priming or thinning, Apply thinly and evenly with a brush, floor brush or microfibre roller and spread well within 10-15 minutes then wipe away any excess oil. Allow 4-5 hours to dry and apply a second coat in the same manner. When renovating a previously oiled surface one coat will normally be enough.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
