Replacement backing pad for Mirka's revolutionary electric DEROS650CV and air PROS650CV random orbital sanders but in the 125mm size for users who find the smaller size preferable . It is supplied in medium density, which has a bit of flex and makes it suitable for a wide variety of tasks. It features 28 holes for dust extraction when used with a suitable abrasive such as Mirka Abranet and with the sander connected to a suitable dust extractor.
It comes with a pad saver attached but these need regular replacement. Pad savers fit in between the abrasive and the backing pad, reducing the wear to the pad that occurs when discs are swapped out.
Regular replacement of the backing pad is crucial for the longevity of the sander. Worn backing pads weigh less, which upsets the balance of the machine, causing vibration. This can potentially cause problems with the motor and speed controller of the sander. A 24mm wrench is used to remove the backing pad. These are supplied with the sander but is available separately if needed.
It can also be used with an interface pad, available in 5 or 10mm widths. These are used in the same way as a pad saver but provide cushioning when sanding a contoured surface to give a smoother result.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
