This combination provides a dust-free sanding solution for work sites where a 110v electrical supply is in use.  The dust extractor is compliant with M-class filtration which is the minimum requirement for site use according to Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

The 5650XCV is the 110v version of Mirka's popular DEROS and is designed for site use.  It retains the compact size and light weight of it's 230v counterpart and it's state of the art ergonomics allow for prolonged periods of use without fatigue. The lowest vibration levels in it's class contribute to the ease and comfort of use. A brushless motor keeps the sander working consistently, even when under heavy load.

A worn backing pad can unbalance the machine, so it is advisable to replace the pad at the first sign of wear.  The 5650XCV can use either 150mm or 125mm backing pads.  The life of the backing pad can be extended by using pad savers, which are also available in 150mm and 125mm sizes.  These fit between the pad and the abrasive and will take the stress of aggressive sanding or frequent abrasive swaps.  A smoother result can be obtained with the use of an interface pad, especially if sanding contoured or rounded surfaces.  Again, these are available in the 150mm and 125mm sizes.

SPECIFICATIONS:

The 1230 M PC dust extractor has M-class filtration, enabling it to successfully handle medium hazard dust that would be generated by the sanding of hardwoods, MDF, concrete or brick.

This extractor features an auto start capability so that it only runs while the sander is in operation.  This helps to reduce noise in the workplace and to extend the life of the motor.  An air flow sensor monitors flow and indicates if this drops below optimum levels, at which point the filter can be cleaned via a simple push and clean system.  Spare filters are available when needed.

There is plenty of onboard storage both for the cable and hose and on top of the machine.  It will accept the Mirka Case Fastening Accessory to attach the Systainer site case, allowing easy access to regularly used items.

If needed, the extractor can be converted to a normal vacuum cleaner with the use of the Mirka Clean Up Kit.  A disposable fleece dust bag is supplied with further bags available in packs of 5.

The 1230 M PC can be used wet or dry but the dust bag must be removed prior to wet use.  The filter should be cleaned before and after wet use.
