How much do I need?
Use Liberon Teak Oil to enhance and nourish hard, exotic or oily wood such as teak, iroko, rosewood, etc. Liberon Teak Oil is a combination of pure tung oil and linseed oil, together with added UV filters to help reduce discolouration from the sun.
Suitable for interior and exterior use. Liberon Teak Oil achieves a professional cabinet maker's finish on hard wood, producing a durable satin finish. It is suitable for use on garden furniture.
To prepare, the wood will need to be bare so if needs be take off any old wax deposits with Wax and Polish Remover. Varnish can be removed with Fine Wood Stripper.
Apply with either a brush or lint-free cloth and allow the oil to absorb for up to 15 minutes. It is important to wipe off any excess with a clean lint-free cloth. If not, further coats will not absorb into the wood and a sticky surface will form. If this happens, wipe the surface with White Spirit, allow to dry then continue oiling.
Further coats can be applied in the same way with a minimum of 3 being recommended - allow 24 hours between coats. To obtain the best results, gently rub down between coats with ultra fine steel wool (grade 0000) or an extra fine abrasive if treating outdoor furniture.
Clean oiled surfaces with a damp cloth and make sure any spills are promptly cleaned up. A mild detergent can be used on stubborn stains. Surfaces treated with Teak Oil will need to be re-oiled at least annually depending on use. Exterior wood may need more frequent oiling to maintain protection.
* Please note that this oil is not suitable for use on external Oak - Pure Tung Oil is recommended in this instance.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
