Description

Liberon Superior Danish Oil protects and feeds hard and soft woods with a blend of natural oils including pure tung oil. Brings out the natural grain of the wood and achieves a soft, satin sheen finish.

Liberon Superior Danish Oil contains UV filters preventing discolouration from the sun and is suitable for exterior and interior use. Liberon do not recommend it for use on exterior oak timbers as the product may not prevent blackening of the timber.

Preparation:  For interior woodwork ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from any previous finishes.  Old wax deposits can be treated with Wax and Polish Remover and varnishes removed with a suitable remover.  If required, the wood can be stained with Palette Dye before oiling.  For exterior woodwork, make sure the surface is clean and dry and free from decaying timber.  Surface greying or mould will also need to be removed as this may cause the timber to blacken.

Application:  Apply with a brush or lint-free cloth and allow 5-10 minutes for the oil to absorb into the wood before wiping away any surplus with a clean lint-free cloth.  Allow 5 hours to dry and apply as many coats as needed - a minimum of 3 coats is recommended but 4 or more will be needed for exposed exterior wood.  

Liberon Superior Danish Oil has a quick drying formula, is water, heat and alcohol resistant and is completely safe for toys (EN71 Approved).

Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
