Liberon Anti Slip Coating

Liberon Anti-Slip Coating is a clear water-based treatment designed to improve grip on smooth interior and exterior flooring surfaces without altering their natural appearance. Suitable for use on wood, stone, paving, concrete and cement, it creates a durable non-slip finish ideal for areas exposed to moisture and regular foot traffic.

Perfect for patios, decking, utility rooms, swimming pool surrounds and other slippery surfaces, this hard-wearing coating provides water resistance along with UV protection to help maintain long-lasting performance outdoors.

Its clear finish preserves the original look of the surface while helping to improve safety in humid or wet conditions.

Top tips:

• Liberon Anti-Slip Coating is water-based and should not be applied over surfaces previously treated with solvent-based oils, as adhesion may be affected.
• This product is also not recommended for use on new hardwoods with high natural moisture content. Dense hardwoods should be left untreated for approximately 12 months to allow the timber to weather and the pores to open before application.
• Apply between 10°C and 25°C for best results.
• For high foot traffic areas, an annual maintenance coat is recommended, or more frequently if required.

How to apply

1. Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from grease, oil and wax.
2. Stir thoroughly before and during application.
3. Always test on a small inconspicuous area before full application.
4. Apply evenly using a brush or medium pile roller.
5. Apply two coats as standard. Porous surfaces may require a third coat.
6. Allow approximately 3 hours between coats if additional coats are needed.
7. The coating will become touch dry after around 30 minutes.
8. Leave for at least 12 hours before subjecting the surface to regular use.
