How much do I need?
Cuprinol Garden Shades have been developed to add colour and provide protection to sheds, fences and other garden wood. Garden Shades is quick and easy to use and will bring beautiful long lasting colour and vibrancy to your garden.
Cuprinol Garden Shades are a special pigment paint, allowing the natural texture and beauty of the woodgrain to shine through, transforming, protecting and weatherproofing any garden timber. It is also suitable for use on brick, terracotta and stone.
Whatever the occasion, whether transforming your garden furniture to create a beautiful setting for alfresco dining, combining bright colours for that modern and fun look, or creating a bright seaside summery coastal theme in your own garden, Cuprinol Garden Shades give a beautiful rich matt colour with up to 6 years weather protection.
Application: Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Any loose, flaking paint should be removed prior to application. It is best to do a test patch in a discrete area as the wood's original colour will be a factor in the final result. If the paint does not adhere well, lightly sand to provide a key. It is advisable to treat the wood with a preservative first, to protect against fungal growth and wood boring insects.
It should be applied in temperatures above 5°C and when rain is not expected. Stir thoroughly before and during use and apply either by brush or sprayer, brushing in the direction of the grain. A minimum of 2 coats should be applied on the same day, no more than 8 hours apart. If this is not possible then lightly sand between coats to assist adhesion of the next coat. Allow a few days before subjecting to heavy use or using soft furnishings. Clean tools with water.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
