UK Mainland Deliveries
All next day standard services to UK Mainland are FREE if your order is over £80 including VAT.
For UK Mainland, not including Scottish Highlands or Islands, Isle of White, or Channel Islands the following rates apply at checkout.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package. Find our Refund Policy here.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer require the item, please organise the return online with a carrier company.

Key Features
Barrettine Premier Universal Preservative Wood Treatment is a high quality, low odour, spirit based, clear wood treatment suitable for use on new and existing internal and external timber such as sheds, fences or summerhouses. If used internally it is only suitable for use in unoccupied areas on things like structural floor joists.
Barrettine Premier Universal Preservative Wood Treatment absorbs deep into the timber protecting against wood rotting and discolouring fungi, wet rot, dry rot, and wood boring insects and guards against future infestation.
It can be thought of as a primer and is not designed as a final finish for external timber, which when dry should be refinished with stain, oil, paint or varnish. As it is wax-free it can be used in conjunction with water-based paints or exterior varnishes.
Application: New bare wood requires little in the way of preparation but if needs be the surface could be degreased with White Spirit. Don't forget to treat any bare end grain as this is a typical ingress point for moisture. You can either use the Universal Preserver or a specific end grain treatment. On older timber make sure that any previous coatings have been removed, either by sanding or employing a paint remover. If sanding, remove the dust with White Spirit or Methylated Spirit.
Apply to dry wood by brush, ideally in temperatures between 10-30°C. Do not apply if rain is expected. 2-3 coats will be needed, depending on the wood species and nature of the surface. Allow 6-12 hours between coats. Clean tools immediately after use with White Spirit
