Description

Liberon Iron Paste is a black graphite paste used to protect and enhance cast and wrought ironwork such as fire grates, surrounds and irons. It reduces the possibility of rusting and can be buffed to a high sheen level if required.

Liberon Iron Paste can be used to good decorative effect on sculptured or detailed pieces, when used to highlight and polish raised areas and create contrast.

Ensure that the surface is clean and free from rust, using a rust remover if necessary. Apply the Iron Paste sparingly with a brush or cotton cloth. To achieve a decorated, patinated finish on sculpted or high relief pieces, carefully polish the raised area with a cotton cloth. Always wear protective gloves when working with this product and do not apply to a hot surface.

* Please note that this is a decorative finish and is not suitable for use on surfaces that are liable to be subject to intense heat.

SPECIFICATIONS:
