Jenkins Paste Floor Wax is the highest quality wax designed for the natural care and protection of old and new floors. It is made of natural waxes that enhance the beauty of wood, producing a long and lasting shine.  Jenkins Paste Floor Wax is a particularly good choice for use on period wooden floors that have acquired a patina over the years as it will produce a traditional finish.

It is also suitable for use on stone and terracotta floors.

Preparation: The floor to be polished must be clean and clear of dust.  If there are any old wax deposits that no longer respond to buffing or general grime, these can be removed with a Wax and Polish Remover.  This product will not cause any harm to the original finish or patina and result in a higher quality, more consistent finish.

Application: Apply Jenkins Floor Wax liberally using a stockinette cloth and work it well into the grain of the wood. Allow to dry for 15-30 minutes before buffing to the required sheen with a clean piece of cloth or rotary buffing machine. Apply as many coats as are necessary to achieve the required level of protection and sheen.

When the floor shows signs of wear or no longer responds to buffing, reapply Jenkins Floor Wax Polish as above.

There are two versions available:  Original W100 will produce a rich, warm tone and is acknowledged as being a close alternative to the now obsolete Johnsons Traffic Wax.  If your preference is not to add any extra warmth to the surface, then Clear W101 would be a good choice.
