The Mirka DEROS sander has been developed for effective and dust-free sanding a wide variety of surfaces when used with a Mirka dust extractor. With a weight of just 1kg, it is the smallest and most ergonomic direct electric random orbital sander on the market, equipped with a brushless motor which maintains constant speed even under heavy loads.
The Mirka DEROS has the lowest vibration values in its class and features an integrated vibration sensor, and a unique symmetrical design that enables for the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. This design allows easy use by left or right handed operators and it can also be used two-handed.
The sander comes in 2.5mm, 5mm or 8mm orbits. This relates to the degree of oscillation of the backing pad while sanding. 2.5mm is often used in automotive applications. 5mm is a good compromise for use in most situations. 8mm is the most aggressive action and as an example would be used for stock removal from walls and for preparing worn decking for refinishing.
The Mirka Deros' hook and loop attachment makes it compatible with Mirka's huge range of abrasives, including the always popular Abranet, the Abralon polishing discs and the newly released Galaxy range.
The sander comes with a medium density backing pad but there is an optional hard density pad available for the sanding of very flat surfaces.
All Mirka electric tools including DEROS Sanders qualify for a two year warranty plus an extra year if the machine is registered on the Mirka website within 30 days of purchase!

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.
To start a return, you can contact us at customer.service@restorate.co.uk. We will talk to you about the nature of your return. If we have sent an item that isn’t on your order, or is exceptional circumstances, we will organise a collection.
If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
