Returns Policy

If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, undamaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package. Find our Refund Policy here.

Key Features

Osmo Wood Protector is highly water repellent protective treatment that is suitable for any interior wood (especially those susceptible to Blue Stain such as Pine) including wooden flooring, window frames and wooden panelling in moist environments such as bathrooms or kitchens. It is also suitable for exterior wood. As it is based on natural plant oils and waxes and contains no biocides, it is particularly well suited for use on playground equipment where a biocide-free treatment is required.

Requires an Osmo oil-based top coat finish
Natural oils enhance the natural tone of wood, giving a permanent wet effect
Safe for humans, animals and plants once dry
Compatible with all conventional adhesives and putty (excluding products containing silicone)

Ensure that the wood is clean, dry and free from previous finishes. The moisture content must be below 18%. New oily woods can be degreased with White Spirit if necessary. Stir well and apply a generous coat with a brush or microfibre roller. The wood could also be dipped for 2 minutes. If possible, treat all sides of the wood, paying attention to any exposed end grain. Wipe any excess oil from edges with a dry cloth. This product will only need to be applied once. A suitable top coat, such as Osmo Polyx Oil for interior wood should be applied within one week.

* As this product will darken and enhance the colour of the wood to which it is applied, it is not suitable for use under Osmo Polyx Oil Raw 3044 or Top Oil Natural 3068, which are designed to retain the natural appearance of the wood.
