Returns Policy

This is a ready to use outfit consisting of Mirka's LEROS 950XCV Dual Voltage sander with the 1230 L PC dust extractor plus connecting hose and abrasives in commonly used grits. The L class rating of the dust extractor makes it compatible with low risk dust as might be produced in the sanding of softwoods, solid surfaces such as Corian and water-based paint or varnish.

The LEROS 950XCV sander features Mirka's new dual voltage system, enabling the sander to work on 110v site supplies and 230/240v domestic supplies. Used with a Mirka dust extractor and Mirka net abrasives, it offers a dust free solution which will minimise clean up, saving time and money. It will also result in a far healthier working environment.

A brushless motor will allow the sander to perform consistently and also when under heavy load. The sanding head is flexible through 180°, which combined with light weight helps the user to work from a more ergonomic position reducing fatigue and strain. The sanding head is close to the surface for good stability and this allows the sander to work very close to edges and corners.

For the smoothest results it is recommended that an interface pad should be used. These are 5mm thick foam pads that cushion the action of the sander and also will produce better results on contoured surfaces.

For the best sanding performance the backing pad should be changed when the first signs of wear appear, which can upset the balance of the machine. The use of pad savers will help to prolong the life of the backing pad as they will take the strain from aggressive sanding and frequent disc changes.

The 1230 L PC dust extractor features an auto start capability so that it only runs while the sander is in operation. This helps to reduce workplace noise and increases the life of the motor. The replaceable filter can be cleaned by a simple Push & Clean system. Regular cleaning will help to keep the extractor working at it's best.

It has a flat top with storage space which will accommodate the Mirka Case Fastening Accessory. This allows attachment of the Systainer site case so that regularly used consumables such as sanding discs and pad savers can be easily accessed. Further onboard storage for the cable and hose allows for easier transportation.

If required this extractor can perform as a standard vacuum cleaner by using Mirka's Clean Up Kit. A disposable fleece dust bag is supplied with extra bags available as a pack of 5.

It can be used wet or dry but the filter must be removed before wet use and the filter cleaned both before and after.
