Returns Policy

If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

Key Features

For the quickest setting time we recommend Lumberjack 5 Minute (PU) Liquid Polyurethane expanding wood adhesive. It is red in colour and expands and sets hard in 5 minutes. This product conforms to EN 204. D4 strength. It is suitable for interior or exterior use and features outstanding weathering and aging properties. This adhesive will foam slightly on application, which will allow it to fill small gaps and increase the overall bond strength. Any excess foam can be removed with Acetone before it sets or with a sharp chisel if already set.

Popular uses for this adhesive are wood jointing, construction, furniture making, door and window framing and in the construction of ladders and staircases.

When preparing the surfaces that are to be glued make sure that they are clean and free of dust, grease or other contaminants. The use of gloves is recommended. At least one of the surfaces to be glued must be porous. Non-porous surfaces should be roughened with an abrasive to provide a key for the adhesive. In order to assist the curing process and ensure the best possible bond, slightly moisten one of the surfaces with a damp cloth, taking care not to make this surface too wet. Lumberjack 5 Minute (PU) can be applied to damp surfaces but the internal moisture content of the wood should not exceed 30%. The ideal temperature range for use is between 5 & 30°C. Set times will be increased in low temperature and humidity.
