Returns Policy

Key Features

Lumberjack 30 Minute (PU) Liquid Polyurethane expanding wood adhesive. It is brown in colour and expands and sets hard in 30 minutes, allowing longer work time. It is ideally suited for larger, horizontal uses affording greater economy. Conforms to EN 204. D4 strength. Suitable for internal or external use, it has excellent aging and weathering characteristics and has first class bond strength to wood and other common construction surfaces. It will foam slightly when applied which allows it to fill small gaps and increase the overall bond strength.

Common uses are wood joint and construction, window and door frame manufacture and furniture making.

When preparing the surfaces that are to be glued make sure that they are clean and free of dust, grease or other contaminants. At least one of the surfaces to be glued must be porous. Any non-porous surfaces should be roughened with an abrasive to provide a key for the adhesive. In order to assist the curing process and ensure the best possible bond, slightly moisten one of the surfaces with a damp cloth, taking care not to over wet. Surfaces to be bonded can be damp but the internal moisture content of the wood must be below 30%. The temperature range for application is 5-30°C. Setting times will be increased in lower humidity and temperature.
