Returns Policy

If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

Barrettine Boiled Linseed Oil is a very traditional oil which dries quicker, also creating a longer lasting and harder wearing finish than its raw alternative.

Boiled linseed oil gives a very soft sheen between matt and satin, but this sheen can be made more glossy finish by building many layers.

Linseed oil has been used for hundreds of years as it is a flaxseed oil. Raw Linseed Oil is completely pure and is food and toy safe but takes a long time to dry. Boiled Linseed Oil is heated and has added driers to help it dry faster so subsequent applications can be built, but it is not food safe due to the driers.

This oil is ideal for exterior and interior applications and is used for everything from exterior furniture to gun stocks.

WARNING: Linseed oil on cloths can spontaneously combust or ignite. Once used, lay the cloth out flat, outside and away from dry grass or foliage.
