Ronseal Wet Rot Wood Hardener

This product will stop wet rot from spreading and will harden the wood ready for repair. It is suitable for interior or exterior use.

Always wear protective gloves when using this product and if using indoors open windows for ventilation. Prepare the surface by removing any loose or crumbling wood and make sure the area is dry. The best results will be achieved by drilling holes into the wood, which will allow the hardener to get deeper into the wood. This will leave a strong base for filling.

Shake the tin thoroughly and pour some of the hardener into the plastic lid then apply liberally by brush making sure the area is well soaked with hardener. Leave it to dry for two hours then scrub with a wire brush to remove any surplus hardener. The wood can then be repaired with a filler. Clean brushes in white spirit.
