Returns Policy

If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.

The sander is based on the technology of the highly successful DEROS model and uses a brushless motor to ensure consistent performance even when the sander is working under heavy load. It's compact size and low profile (only 10cm high) makes the sander highly maneuverable, while the optimised ergonomics allow for comfortable use, even over extended periods of time. An integrated vibration sensor monitors vibrations levels via the myMirka app and allows the user to guard against the effects of prolonged exposure to vibration.

It's 81 x 133mm rectangular layout allows the sander to easily access corners and the optional 81 x 165mm extension backing pad helps it to get into hard to reach places.

The 1230 M dust extractor meets the minimum requirements for site use as recommended by the Health and Safety Executive. The 'M' classification of the dust extractor means it is suitable for use where medium hazard dust is created, such as in the sanding of hardwoods, board materials, concrete or brick. Automatic filter cleaning takes place every 15 seconds and an air-flow alarm will activate if the flow drops below optimum levels. If this alarm sounds it may be time to change the filter . An auto start function means the extractor will only operate when the sander is in use, reducing noise in the work place and extending the life of the motor.

There is plenty of inbuilt storage both for the cable and hose and further storage on top of the machine. It will also accept the Mirka Case Fastening Accessory, which allows attachment of the Systainer site case to provide easy access to frequently used consumables. Should the extractor need to be used as a conventional vacuum cleaner it can be converted for this use with the Mirka Clean Up Kit . A disposable fleece dust bag is included with extra bags available as a pack of 5. The 1230M can be used wet or dry but the dust bag must be removed before wet use. Clean the filter both before and after wet use.
