Rustins quick drying Blackboard Paint provides a matt black non-reflective surface for blackboards and photographic work. The product is suitable for interior and exterior use and conforms to the Toy safety regulations EN71 part 3.
Preparation: Apply Rustins Blackboard Paint to a clean, dry surface that is free from any potential contaminants. No primer or undercoat is required. Previous coated surfaces are to be rubbed down to provide a key. If the existing finish is not in good condition, remove with a Paint and Varnish Remover.
Application: Open in a well ventilated area and stir well before use. It is recommended to use a large synthetic soft tipped brush to apply liberally and evenly. Do not apply directly onto a warm surface or in strong sunlight and allow 30 minutes drying time. After application sand lightly with a fine abrasive paper, and then add the second coat. Two coats of Rustins Blackboard Paint are recommended but a third may be needed if applying to bare wood. Allow 3 days for the surface to fully cure before use. The ideal temperature range for applying this paint is between 15-25°C and it should not be used if the temperature drops below 10°C.
Maintenance: To maintain the surface, we advise that any surface chalk be wiped away with a fine damp cloth. When re coating, wipe surface down with a mild detergent and water, and allow to dry before re-coating.
Storage: Secure lid tightly, store in a cool dry place and protect from frost - do not store in temperatures below 5°C.
Cleaning: Brushes should be cleaned with water when finished.

Returns Policy
If you have mis-ordered, don’t require the item or have been sent an item not ordered, please notify us within 30 days of receipt and we will accept the return.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unmanaged and unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase or request a returns reference to enclose in the package.

If you, the customer, have mistakenly ordered an item, given incorrect delivery details, or no longer wish the item, it is your responsibility and your liability to return the item in re-saleable condition in order to receive a refund for the value that the item was purchased for.
