This solution should be applied evenly to the surface with a cloth, sponge or \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/restorate.co.uk\/products\/marshall-401-professional-paint-brush\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Marshall 401 Professional Paint Brush\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"\u003ebrush\u003c\/a\u003e.  Do not apply only to the stained area at this point.  Once dry if there is still some staining then apply directly to the stained area and once the desired result has been achieved, rinse the surface with clean water.
